My team includes a graphic designer who used to own an art gallery, a project coordinator with deep analytical experience who’s also been in Wendy’s television ads, a marketer who grew a major craft brewery’s social media following by 10,000%, and an office administrator who studied vocal performance and may as well have a master’s degree in multitasking. Amy VanElsacker
Amy brings creativity and a strong work ethic to her role as Creative Director and Broker Associate. Born in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, she loved drawing floor plans and painting homes as a kid. She was class clown in high school and studied Urban Planning at Michigan State University. Amy began her career in Grand Rapids, where she worked in city planning and ran The Mustache Gallery, which hosted local and national artists. She spent a year in Vietnam before landing in Chicago, moved back overseas to spend time with her sister’s family, and returned to Grand Rapids in 2022. Amy and her husband purchased a multifamily home in a historic district and are renovating their owner-occupant unit. Amy excels at marketing, events, and design.

Michael Carey
Michael’s diverse skill set—data analysis, marketing creative, system development, sales, and more—allows him to wear many hats as the team’s Project Coordinator. He has a degree in Economics and French from Indiana University, where he raced bicycles. He sticks to yoga now. Michael has done a dozen national commercials as an actor, for major brands like Allstate and Wendy’s. He lives in Edgewater with his wife, daughter, and dog.

Hannah Clark
Hannah has a decade of experience working in administration, operations, and client services. She’s fantastic at both holding things together and keeping us all organized in her role as Office Administrator and Executive Assistant. She is also a professional singer and pianist, performing regularly as a solo artist under the stage name Clark Halyn. Hannah manages to be both professional and fun at the same time—she’s the perfect addition to our team.

Sarah Aldrich
Sarah brings 15 years of digital marketing and brand building experience to Jason’s team. She began working in the industry while studying Professional Writing at Michigan State University, interning for the university, Martha Stewart, and National Geographic. Sarah started her career as the first marketing employee at Founders Brewing in Grand Rapids, leading the brand’s growth for 5 years. She claims that becoming a beer snob at 22 was both a blessing and a curse. Sarah started a freelance writing and marketing consulting business when she moved to Vietnam in 2015. Amy pulled her onto the Jason O’Beirne team, and Jason is one of Sarah’s earliest clients. Sarah lives in Grand Rapids with her husband, daughter, and dog.

Michael Evangelista
Michael brings over 20 years of experience to his photography role in Jason’s team. While starting his photography career in 2000, Michael developed an interest in street photography, which later led to wedding and fashion/editorial photography. Michael is self-taught and first became interested in film. He has spent the last 5 years working in real estate, and began working with Jason in June 2019. In his free time, Michael enjoys flying FPV drones.

Ryan Hutton
Ryan has over 15 years of experience in Videography and Editing, with his specialties primarily being in travel and real estate video production. While at Western Colorado University, Ryan first began doing video production for Chef Charles Webb, and continued on to create a digital travel series for the chef’s social media. Ryan is an avid traveler, having been to every continent except Antarctica. While backpacking in different countries, he enjoys surfing, snowboarding, skateboarding and creating travel videos of these adventures.
